Challenge

The Florida Community Development Legal Project (FCDL) is a community of legal services providers offering free legal services to eligible Florida small businesses and nonprofit corporations. FCDL hosted its website on WordPress, but site administrators found it challenging to manage. They needed a user-friendly solution for both website visitors and the administrative team who frequently create content.

Opportunity

FCDL decided to migrate their entire website to the Pory website builder. Along with this migration, they undertook a comprehensive redesign. The redesign's key features included a focus on mobile-friendly design, search and filter capabilities, accessible PDFs, and overall user experience improvements. FCDL developed a content database using Airtable and Pory integration to maintain and manage the website. This integration allows administrators to update site content like news, events, and sign-up forms efficiently. They also connected Google Analytics to the FCDL site domain, enabling administrators to monitor, track, and report website analytics. Finally, they provided comprehensive training to the Legal Services of Greater Miami team to ensure they could manage the new site effectively.

Result

After migrating to Pory, FCDL resolved the complexities previously associated with WordPress. Introducing modern management tools not only helped maintain the site well but also simplified the process for administrators. The redesigned website improved user experience by organizing and making essential resources easily accessible and intuitive, especially information on applying for free legal services.
