How did you get into legal tech?
Early in my career, I immersed myself in the dynamic and innovative world of technology startups. Driven by a desire to bring this innovation into the more traditional legal sector, I turned my focus towards integrating technology within legal practices.
Why is access to justice important to you?
My dedication to improving access to justice is deeply rooted in my personal experiences and the realities of my home country, where access to legal support is not a given but a privilege. I am motivated by the desire to leave a lasting legacy that transcends traditional legal boundaries and offers innovative, affordable solutions to those in need.

How did you get into legal tech?
After a decade of working in public education, I found myself drawn to UX/UI design. I enrolled in UX design courses on Coursera and also reached out to my friends and family for any job leads. This networking paid off when a friend introduced me to Hallie Jay Pope, the founder of the Graphic Advocacy Project, a nonprofit that uses visual tools to simplify legal ideas. It was through Hallie that I got connected with A2J Tech, and the rest is history!
Why is access to justice important to you?
I only became acquainted with the idea of access to justice when I joined A2J Tech. As someone who's spent a significant part of my career focused on social good,
access to justice made perfect sense to me. For a society to be genuinely just, it's crucial to consider every person impacted by the legal system. My commitment at A2J Tech is to continually strive towards an equitable and accessible legal system for those who need it most.
